Dar d.o.o. Koper is a private company run by the Gregorcic family which started its handicraft trade in a small workshop in the family house over twenty years ago.

Today the company’s business property extends to an area of 12,000 sq. m of which 6,000 sq. m are buildings and facilities including a bonded warehouse for the storage of imported goods intended for export. While Dar has conquered the market and leads the field in Slovenia, it has recently begun to branch out into export. The staff and capital potential as well as the location of the company on the outskirts of the coastal town of Koper at the northernmost port in the Mediterranean, and situated near the Luka Koper d.d. company together help to provide Dar with excellent possibilities to engage in world trade.

The activities of Dar include production and trade:

- We produce decorative, artificial trees for customers who desire natural surroundings but lack the necessary conditions. Dar produces items with the Naturalmente trademark which are well-known throughout Europe. The product line includes artificial trees fashioned on genuine tree trunks to provide pleasant green decoration in environments otherwise unsuited to natural plants.

- The company’s trading activities include supplying shops for florists, confectioners, stationery and gifts. Our product range includes dry and silk flowers and arrangements, assorted ribbons, decorative and flowershop products made of glass, ceramics, porcelain, plush toys, wrapping papers, bags, occasional greeting cards, and a range of other products designed for various arrangements in floral shops, glass cabinets and confectionery shops. To add a special touch to high celebration holidays like Christmas, New Years, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Easter, Dar imports products from countries in the Far East such as China, India and Thailand.

- We print decorative paper and polypropylene foils for arranging flowers, bottles and other gifts with the use of copperplate (rotary press) and flexographic printing. By request, customized printing of logos, signs, and product names may be added to the paper.
