Rotator Norway AS

Rotator Norway specializes in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for the oil and shipping industry.

The company was founded in 1959 and today has 65 employees. The facilities, which are located at Nodeland just outside Kristiansand, include offices and an indoor production area of 3,500 m2, and an outdoor area of 5,000 m2.

The factory has a modern machine shop including several N.C. and C.N.C. machines, welding machines, including 2 submerge arc. machines for construction of pressure vessels. The company also has modern test equipment and test stands, where all products are thoroughly tested before delivery.

The company employs skilled technical staff, including service engineers, who have the necessary safety certificates for offshore installations.

Rotator has also recently received ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Certification.

Major clients are Norsk Hydro, Statoil, B.P., Elf Aquitaine, Shell and Phillips Petroleum Company.

The product line includes design and construction of directional control valves, complete valve control systems, hydraulic power packs and hydraulic/pneumatic valves, acubators, control valves and systems also for subsea applications.

The company's reference list now includes the majority of the projects in the North Sea area.

Based on 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing, Rotator Norway's products are becoming standard in both platform and subsea projects.

Rotator Norway has been awarded the Letter of Agreement on Troll Phase I for both solenoid valves and hydraulic actuators. The same contract was also won by Rotator Norway for Troll Olje and Sleipner West (Statoil).
