Gardermoen International Airport, Oslo
The Oslo International Airport -- OSL -- at Gardermoen, 47 km north of Oslo, opened 8th of October 1998.

The airport ensures convenient and efficient air transport for the next century. Approximately USD 3 billion was been invested in the new Gardermoen airport, an improved highway system and a new high-speed rail link. The airport development is the largest land-based project in Norway.

The 1.47 million sq. feet terminal building has 34 gates with air bridges and 5 commuter stands and a capacity of 16Ð17 million passengers a year. All elements are designed for flexibility and extension potential.

Airport charges will remain the same as at other Norwegian airports.

Oslo International Airport is managed by Oslo Lufthavn AS, a subsidiary of the Norwegian Civil Aviation Administration.
