The Viking Hotel
The Viking Hotel, located in the Viking Village. The Hotel has 42 well furnished and luxurious rooms including shower, WC and television. The décor of the rooms has a Viking style on the first floor and a West Nordic theme on the second floor. As you enter the Hotel, you are greeted with fine art and crafts of the Vikings.

West Nordic Culture House
The West Nordic Culture House is in an old forge. The opening of the West Nordic Culture House in Hafnarfjordur marks another major contribution to a better understanding and appreciation of rich Viking history, heritage, art and traditions. It is a valuable addition to the wide range of museums, historic sites and other cultural attractions in the town of Hafnarfjordur, located only 5 min. drive from Reykjavik and only 10 min drive from Reykjavik Central.

The West Nordic Culture House has a museum store and it serves the purpose of enhancing the cultural co-operation between the West Nordic countries, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland. It displays and showcases collections of Viking and Inuit art, paintings, drawings, carvings and crafts made today in the traditions of the Viking Age. The culture house offers various operations, i.e. the exhibition and selling of various kinds of handicraft and stalls introducing each country and its people.
