A beautiful photobook from the magnificient Westman Islands
south of Iceland. From the Summer Sea is a hardcover book,
80 pages, 23,5x27,5 cm, with an average one photo per page.
It describes the beauty of the islands as it plays with the
contrast of old and new, both in nature and the life of the
people living in the Westman Islands. The Islands became
famous in 1973 when 1/3 of the village was buried in lava
and ashes during a volcanic eruption.
The book is in Icelandic, English and German.
