The network includes a 2,000 km digital radio relay system along the southwest coast and a satellite system covering the remote towns in the north and east. Spur or satellite links connect the settlements to the main system. Connection with the rest of the world consists of three satellite systems between Greenland and Denmark.
The cost of this network has been high, but the benefits for the Greenlandic society have by far surpassed it. |
